I Predict...
...that maybe not in 2005, but certainly in the next decade or so, Europe and America will either move farther apart, straining Britian's ties with mainland Europe, or they will in fact move closer to the American ideal. This must-read article explores the latter scenario in detail.

For another reading update, I finished Digital Fortress. It was good, but I hate when the plot falls in place too quickly, so as to arouse my suspicion, and thus having me figuring out the major plot twist before it happens. Still, an enjoyable read. Just started Big U by Neal Stephenson, it's interesting so far.
