Red State Thoughts

Living in Philadelphia and going to school in New Castle County, Delaware, I am used to being in unfriendly political territory. Spending a period of time in a deep red state is completely foreign to me. Here are some things I noticed while I was in Houston (which is was expecting to be more blue, as a city):

  • FoxNews on in public, no riots
  • General public not shocked that there are enough Republicans in college to warrant a CRNC.
  • No protesters at CR Meeting
  • Lots of northeastern CRs like country music
  • Texas weather is nice, at least in winter

Just thought I'd share some of those observations
