Hero/Hack
My heroes this week are Senators John Cornyn and Diane Feinstein, who asked President Bush to give former U.S. Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean the same treatment he gave Scooter Libby. I'm not all that familiar with the case, but from what I know it seems to be an issue worth visiting. I especially comment Feinstein for taking on the issue which seems to be popular only with the populist-right. For more details, check out my coworker Amanda Carpenter's article from yesterday.
My hack this week is The Washington Post. Their political coverage has reached a new low. Not in terms of bias, not that they seem to be ignoring the big issues, but because they have an entire article today about Hillary Clinton's cleavage. Gross. And completely irrelevant.
